Where are you?
Chloe’s first (and most used) sentence is “Where are you ______?” Most often she is looking for dad, George, Huntley (the dog), or the cats. Last night I caught a clip of her calling for Matthew.
Ampa Nark
Chloe got to spend last the weekend with her “Ampa Nark”. They had a great time reading books together and playing with Chloe’s trains. We also got to go watch Jason blow Mark and Matthew away at Fast Kart, Chloe really enjoyed running around and watching the guys pass her each lap but wasn’t too sure about their helmets. It was a great time and we can’t wait for Grandpa to come visit us again!

Big Girl
We might be crazy but it had to happen sometime, Chloe has been moved into her big girl bed! We’ve had a week of Chloe as a big girl and I have to say it’s going pretty well! She loves her new room set-up and over the past week has adjusted pretty well to her new sleeping arrangement. I think the best part for me is waking up at 5 every morning to a little poke in the back as she climbs in to snuggle with Matt and I until we get up at 7.
We’ve also started the process of saying goodbye to Chloe most treasured possession “B” (her binky). After a week we are down to only using B at nap, night time and on the occasional car ride. It’s been a little rough but she’s finally getting on board!
B isn’t the only thing we’ve started to say goodbye to, diapers are also hopefully going to be leaving our house in the not too distant future. Chloe is already great at using her potty in the morning and before she goes to bed at night so we are hoping that if we keep working on it we’ll get the rest of the day under control as well! I can’t believe how much she’s growing up!
Mobius!
For Christmas we got a membership to the children’s museum in Spokane and took Grandma Schmidt with us to check out the new exhibit!
Living Desert
While we were on vacation we got to go back to Chloe’s favorite zoo (well really the only zoo she’s been to more than once but hey she loves it!) This year we got to feed the giraffes and of course play with the goats. The highlight this year was sitting on the statues of different animals throughout the park. Chloe really loved the warthogs and the cheetah!
Koi Fish
One of Chloe’s favorite things in Palm Desert was eating at the Samurai Chef restaurant and feeding the koi fish in the pond. I think she could have done it all day everyday if we had let her!
Palm Springs!
We were lucky enough to run away from the cold for two weeks after Christmas and play with “Gigi” and Lulu in Palm Desert. Chloe loved being able to run around outside and found out that her favorite time is “nakey” time. These are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip!
