Chloe had her first Christmas Program at school tonight! She did amazing in the chorus and was on stage with her class for the full 20 minute program. Matt was the pro videographer and did a pretty good job capturing the magic

Getting ready for Chloe’s birthday was really fun this year. She new for over a month exactly what she wanted for her “Happy Day” a bike and a helmet. I feel like we went everywhere looking at bikes and trying to talk her into a tricycle but it was not a bike and a bike was what she had been wishing for. Super cute and of course we went for it and got her her first bike. So far it’s more of something that she sits on while we push it but one of these days she’ll get the idea of pedaling (and yes it even has a seat for George or one of her five baby sister Kate’s to ride with her!)
Dressing-up is still one of Chloe’s favorite things to do. She loves pretending that she’s going to “Army” like dad, driving her car (which really is sitting under the table) to various places, being a butterfly, and just wearing me and Matthew’s clothes (especially shoes!). She really enjoys involving the cat’s in whatever is going on and they have started having tea parties, story time, and being her babies (we really lucked out in the cat department and so far they have been totally supportive of Chloe’s games). It’s so fun to see her little imagination work and watch her create her own worlds day after day!
Also in April we got to go visit Chloe’s super sweet new cousin baby Kate! Chloe absolutely loved being surrounded by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It was like Disney heaven all over again! I think the highlight of the trip was when she finally got to hold baby Kate. Since we’ve been home she’s started calling her favorite doll Baby Kate and takes her everywhere with her. I can’t wait until we can get them all together again!
We kept things pretty simple for Easter this year and just hung around the house decorating eggs with Uncle Jason. We had a great time and Chloe even got to have a chocolate bunny.
Our last trip to California was by far the best so far! Chloe has gotten to be so much fun and loves playing in the water at the pool and really really loves the characters at Disneyland. She got to spend a lot of quality time with Chip and Dale who were tied with the bears from Brother Bear for her favorites. She also love loved the Winnie the Pooh ride and each time it would come to an end would ask the ride operator if she could go “just one more Pooh”, we must have rode it at least 50 times but it was well worth it. Dumbo, Pirates and all of the rides in a Bug's land were also great and we got to have breakfast in the park with Minnie Mouse and lunch with the Princesses. I think she was going through Disney magic withdrawals for at least a week once we finally got home! Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip and a link to the photo book that we made.
I can’t believe it’s been so long since the last time I posted!! We’ve missed so much,Easter, a trip to California, Chloe’s new cousin baby Kate, and Chloe’s second Birthday! Well here is a bit of a mash up and we will see if I can get things caught up a bit!
Thanks to the Carver’s and the amazing dress-up clothes that they sent Chloe, her dressing up has gone to a whole new level. Her favorite thing right now is dressing up like a fairy and putting her big bear in a butterfly costume. These pictures have some really good post nap hair happening in them.
